Concrete producers cannot ignore the strengthening movement toward green building, which is quickly becoming the standard for smart construction. Producers will have an ideal opportunity to learn about green sustainable construction at the Greenbuild International Conference, Nov. 15–17 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver.
Three days of educational programs, workshops, a vast exhibit floor, and networking events give several opportunities to learn about the latest innovations, exchange ideas, and develop new business relationships.
Highlights include an educational program, more than 700 exhibitor booths, LEED workshops, U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) member day and chapter forum, green building tours, keynote speakers a Master Speaker Series, and the USGBC Leadership Awards.
Attendees will include architects, building owners, code officials, contractors, engineers, home builders, landscape architects, and urban planners.
Each year, more people are attending and more companies are exhibiting at Greenbuild. Last year, 9,724 people registered to attend, more than double from three years earlier. Also last year, people attended from 30 nations, and there were 90 conference sessions and more than 300 conference presentations.
Seven leaders and visionaries comprise the Master Speaker Series. Topics include Innovation in Design, Communication & Economy, New Urbanism, Health & Environment, Climate Change, Residential Development, and Building Technologies.
