Several updates of important ASTM standards affecting concrete producers have been approved. Here is a summary of some recent committee announcements.

C138/C138M - Standard Test Method for Density (Unit Weight), Yield, and Air Content (Gravimetric) of Concrete has been revised to C138/C138M-07

C78 - Standard Test Method for Flexural Strength of Concrete (Using Simple Beam with Third-Point Loading) has been revised to C78-07.

C1567 - Standard Test Method for Determining the Potential Alkali-Silica Reactivity of Combinations of Cementitious Materials and Aggregate (Accelerated Mortar-Bar Method) has been revised to C1567-07

C192/C192M - Standard Practice for Making and Curing Concrete Test Specimens in the Laboratory has been revised to C192/C192M-07
