An estimated 3000 concrete producers, suppliers, contractors, and engineers will attend the International Concrete Exposition (Icon Expo) for the “global concrete products industry.” The show takes place at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, Feb. 26–28.
A Pre-Grand Opening Reception launches the event on Wednesday evening, Feb. 25. The show's Grand Opening Brunch on Thursday, Feb. 26, features Gene Stallings, former University of Alabama football coach.
This global concrete products trade show will offer product demonstrations, networking opportunities, social events, and the latest products and technologies for the concrete industry. Attendees can take advantage of the National Concrete Masonry Association's (NCMA) Concrete Products University (CPU), with educational programs tailored to the specific needs of the concrete masonry and hardscape industry. CPU education sessions are organized according to attendees' job functions: sales and marketing; business management; hardscape contractor; executive leadership; and production, operations, and safety.
Show highlights include the first CMU Performance Competition, and a block and paver plant tour with stops at Landstone in Terre Haute and Shuster Building Products in Indianapolis. The Icon Expo Lab Booth will have displays and demonstrations of testing methods used for concrete masonry and hardscape products.
Icon Expo sponsors include the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute, NCMA, and PCA. Association meetings begin Monday, Feb. 23.
