How a customer is treated by employees of a business has enormous influence on public opinion of that business. Find out if your employees treat customers with courtesy and respect by having a friend call your office and tell you how they were treated. Use this technique to monitor courtesy in your workplace. Less-than-acceptable results should be corrected by establishing a set of guidelines for yourself and employees. Always remember that you need to set a good example for employees.
