Indianola business and community leader Gary Ruble stepped down as chairman of the board for Cemen Tech, Inc. September 30. Cemen Tech is located in Indianola, IA, and is the world’s largest manufacturer of volumetric proportioning and continuous mixing concrete systems. Cemen Tech currently serves customers in more than 52 countries. Cemen Tech is also the parent company of International Mixers Inc. in Indianola, IA.
For 22 years, Ruble served as CEO of Cemen Tech and was instrumental in helping the company grow nationally and internationally. He resigned as CEO in early 2012, but continued to lend his industry leadership and experience to the company’s board of directors.
“It has truly been an honor to serve on Cemen Tech’s Board of Directors,” said Ruble. “I have had the good fortune to collaborate with some very well-respected industry leaders, as well as contribute some of the personal and professional insight and experience I’ve gained throughout my career. It has been extremely rewarding watching the Cemen Tech brand and its employees evolve and thrive.”
Ruble is a 1963 graduate of Simpson College and has completed postgraduate work at Drake University. He is married to wife, Dixie, and has two children and two grandchildren.
Ruble said he will continue to serve where needed on the community level, but looks forward to a slower pace and more time for family and friends.
