Concrete Cares made a big impact at World of Concrete, bringing awareness to children stricken by cancer. A pink concrete bunny drew large crowds of people looking to name and take a photo with the bunny. The nonprofit organization also gave away 10,000 concrete hearts for a donation. All funds went to Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada.
Co-founder Mike Murray started Murray Decorative Concrete Supply in the 1980s, later sold his company and has worked full time on Concrete Cares since 2014. “Our goal is to use concrete to make a difference in the lives of people affected by cancer,” he says. Visit www.concretecares.com.
