The Euclid Chemical Co. has announced Nick Adams will move into the role of vice president of Segment Sales and Warren McPherson will transition to a new position as manager of High Performance Flooring Systems. Both join the Key Account Group, which cultivates and manages agreements with key, national admixture and construction products accounts. Both appointments, which report to vice president of Sales Rusty Maglionico, take effect immediately.
With years of experience as a contractor, Euclid Chemical regional manager and ACI flatwork technician proctor, McPherson is uniquely positioned to help launch an extended joint spacing program at Euclid Chemical. He will be responsible for training flatwork contractors to successfully reduce control joints in interior slab on grade projects as well as assist with related sales efforts. McPherson has been actively involved in the design, manufacture and finishing of concrete for more than 40 years. Formerly a Euclid Chemical regional sales manager and currently Euclid Chemical’s manager of High Performance Flooring Systems, McPherson is a Fellow of the American Concrete Institute (ACI). He is also a voting member on several ACI committees and is an instructor and examiner for the ACI Flatwork Certification Program in his home state of Michigan.
Adams’ responsibilities include managing relationships with major contractors, pursuing and managing private label opportunities. He will also coordinate efforts with national contractor groups to negotiate agreements with large, national civil contractors.
The new additions to The Euclid Chemical Company’s Key Account Groups are a culmination of several promotions and company restructuring that included the appointment of Maglionico to Vice President of Sales. Maglionico joined the company in 1999 and at one point served as Regional Manager for one of Euclid Chemical’s highest grossing and most profitable regions. He leads the company’s entire US sales group.
