By now, most of you have heard about Concrete Cares—a non-profit organization in the concrete industry that is serious about raising the public’s awareness of breast cancer and maybe even contributing to a cure. “Everyone has been touched by breast cancer,” says Mike Murray, co-founder of Concrete Cares.
This mission is simple—to place pink decorative concrete to draw attention to the cause, by pulling contractors and concrete producers to donate materials and labor/talent to create the final piece. The project can be small and mighty! Murray’s goal is to have a pink concrete placement in every state by October 2013.
Concrete Cares is also holding a Pink Ribbon on Every Concrete Truck Challenge, and your help is requested!
Show your support by placing a pink ribbon on every ready-mix truck, company vehicle, construction vehicle, or your personal car/truck. You can tie or paint it on, use a magnet, or any other creative way that works.
