The Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute recently elected Oldcastle Precast Inc.'s manager of sales, engineering, and quality control Chuck Prussack, PE, to serve as its 2016 chairman.
Prussack joined Oldcastle Precast in 1979 while it was Central Pre-mix Prestress Company and still works there today in their Spokane, Wash. location. He is a PCI fellow, serving on several panels for the National Academy of Sciences bridge-related
projects, as well as a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Structural Engineers Association of Washington.
The organization looked forward to the role that Prussack will play going forward and he was also excited for the opportunity:
“I look forward to serving as PCI’s chairman in the coming year,” said Prussack. “My theme is being good stewards of the industry and what it takes to do that. My goals for the Institute include greater member engagement in training all levels of professionals, from plant workers to engineers and drafters; and promoting the benefits of precast/prestressed construction and product innovation with PCI as the primary resource for education, information, and connection.”
