Terex is recalling certain front-discharge concrete mixer trucks for potential steering problems, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports. According to a recall notice summary on the agency's website:
Terex Advance (Terex) is recalling certain model year 2013-2015 Front Discharge Concrete Mixer Trucks manufactured August 20, 2012, to December 5, 2014. Due to improperly secured castellated retaining nuts on the front axle leaf spring rear pin and the steering system, the rear end of the front axle leaf spring may partially disconnect from the front suspension hanger.
The notice states that Terex will be notifying owners and correcting the problem.
