Mounting options

The Effer crane model 1355 with crosstab stabilizer system has a 360-degree arc. Mount it behind the truck cab or behind the rear axles. One stabilizer beam extends at a 45-degree angle from the center line of the truck, while the opposite beam rotates hydraulically in an arc up to 120 degrees. This model is available in nine different configurations. North American Lifting Equipment. 800-343-4210. www.efferusa.com.

Heavy precast boom truck

The Heila HLR 70000-3S knuckle boom unloader has twin-lift main cylinders, centered knuckle arm, and twin three-section extension cylinders. Mount the crane at the rear with a heavy-duty subframe and hydraulic out-and-down stabilizers for lifting capacity of 59,500 lbs. Features include a 22.5- x 8-ft platform, planetary gear with 450-degree boom rotation, wireless remote control, and “turtle mode” settings to reduce boom speed for precision function control. Hydraulic telescopic crane

The AC18-70R-HL truck crane has an 18-ton maximum lifting capacity, a 70-ft, three-section boom, and 80-ft sheave height. Standard safety features include a Load Moment & Area Protection (LMAP) system, outrigger boom interlock system, and outrigger motion alarm. The crane has a hydraulic pilot-operated control system with options for a radio remote and two-man platform. Altec Cranes. 866-966-2989. www.altec.com.

Rear-mount crane

The 4030R model handles 40,000 pounds at 10 ft through a full 360 degrees of rotation. Its solid platform is greatly improved by the newly designed 20-ft rear outriggers. The 40 Series' efficient design allows up to 20,000 lb of payload capacity on a standard three-axle truck. The manufacturer's proprietary software can determine the best placement of your product to maximize payload while observing legal axle limits. A crane built for comfort

The National Crane 900H boom truck crane's console technology allows the operating station to be positioned on either side of the truck. Its load-sensing hydraulic system results in smooth operation, and H-style multi-span outriggers allow for fast, safe set-up. Mount it behind the cab or at the rear of the truck with a rider seat. Maximum capacity is 27 tons; boom lengths are 105, 95, and 69 ft. Manitowoc. 717-597-8121. www.manitowoc.com.

All-terrain hydraulic crane

The Grove GMK7550 has a 550-ton lifting capacity on a seven-axle carrier and a boom launcher for fast assembly. It has a five-section, full-power, 197-ft boom with a maximum tip height of 207 ft. The TWIN-LOCK boom pinning system has 32 extension configurations. An optional 240-ft lattice luffing jib converts to a fixed offset lattice jib with lengths up to 230 feet, and up to 430 ft overall tip height.
