bauma 2007 promises to be an impressive display of international construction equipment and machinery. The show's organizers from Messe München International are expecting a record number of visitors in a record amount of space: more than 420,000 people in a venue larger than 5 million square feet.

To make the most of the bauma trade fair experience in Munich, Germany, editors of THE CONCRETE PRODUCER, CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION, and MASONRY CONSTRUCTION are inviting readers to join a special Reader Tour during the show, April 23–29. On Tuesday, April 24, readers and editors will meet for breakfast and a behind-the-scenes overview of the show presented by bauma's organizers. After two days of exploring the world's largest specialized trade show, our group will enjoy a Bavarian reception on Wednesday evening, April 25.

To further enhance the show experience, readers will have the chance to see bauma's construction machinery, equipment, and vehicles in action. On Thursday and Friday, April 26 and 27, the Reader Tour will visit concrete plants and jobsites in the Munich area. These exclusive trips will provide an opportunity most bauma attendees don't have: a first-hand look at European plant operations and construction sites (along with historical sights along the way).

There are two tour options. Readers can sign up for the weeklong package, including hotel accommodations for six nights, a seven-day bauma entry badge, the breakfast and reception, and two day tours. Those who have already made travel arrangements and registered for the show can also join us for the reader events and day tours. Reservations will be confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis. Availability is limited for both packages.
