61 Superior Ready Mix Concrete | Escondido, Calif.

A family-owned producer since 1959, when it was known as Escondido Ready Mix Concrete, it was renamed to reflect a commitment to superior service after expanding and acquiring businesses in southern California. Today, the producer supplies customers with concrete, aggregates, and asphalt from more than 20 plants. Originally established in 1967 to make precast and prestressed concrete for the bridge, marine, and structural industries, this producer has expanded its product line to include platforms for the petrochemical industry, precast segmental sections for long-span bridges, and large diameter spun-cast cylinder pile for large foundation projects. It maintains 22 multi-project casting beds and a large concrete slab area for match-cast and precast items on its 70-acre site.
