Rick joined The Concrete Producer in July 1996 after working for 18 years in the aggregates industry. He was named Editor of Masonry Construction in June 2001. His previous positions ranged from quarry foreman for Material Service Corporation to area manager responsible for four open pit quarries and three dredge sand and gravel operations for Rogers Group, Inc., in Bloomington, Ind.

Tom has been managing editor since summer 2003. He was a reporter at newspapers near Wheeling, W.Va., and in Dubuque, Iowa, and Youngstown, Ohio, before turning to trade magazine publishing. He was senior editor at New Steel for four years and was managing editor at Modern Metals before joining Hanley Wood. Tom writes the monthly E-Concrete column, news, and features.
