An effective marketing strategy is needed for any new business. In order to give the impression that your company presents a low risk, careful planning is needed. This is called a proactive marketing strategy, and it is based on a three step plan:
1. Information: find out how your competitors have positioned themselves in the market and then do something differently.
2. Development of a strategic plan to maximize your position: this includes pricing strategies; staffing, salary and employee training strategies; advertising strategies; marketing materials and ad copy strategies; and financial requirements.
3. "Assembly line" implementation: if your plan is well thought out, implementing it should pose no special problems or surprises.
