This Tampa Bay residence features concrete roof tiles, precast concrete countertops, sinks, and stair treads, and stained concrete floors and patios. The home's exterior walls are masonry block filled with concrete and finished with stucco. Cantilevered concrete balconies are supported by a poured second-level concrete floor. The roof is finished in concrete tiles, and its columns, balconies, and tie beams are poured concrete. The outdoor swimming pool includes an overflow edge so the water level is flush with a stained concrete deck. The concrete pool liner with glass-bead aggregate gives the pool a mirror-like appearance. Inside, the concrete floors on the first floor are stained gray with cast-in-place concrete baseboards, and sealed with an impregnating sealer and densifier to improve durability and provide a low-gloss matte finish. The master bath features precast concrete vanity tops with integrated rectangular sinks, a concrete tub surround, concrete shower walls, and a concrete floor. The elegant bone color of the elements was achieved with iron oxide pigments, and the surfaces were polished and sealed with impregnating sealers.
