Bayview Redi-Mix Inc., of Aberdeen, Washington took a 1994 Kenworth chassis, put a McNeilus mixer on it, and covered the whole thing with 5,200 Christmas lights for a festive entry in the City of Motesano's Festival of Lights Parade. Jack Prince, president of the company, said they got the idea out of Concrete Journal four years ago. The drum is able to spin in full charge and discharge at full throttle. The company leaves the truck decorated for an extra week after the parade and drive it around to all of the neighboring communities as a way to say "thank you" for the past year's business.
