Columbia Machine, Inc. is proud to announce the expansion of their already successful relationship with Techmatik S.A. In 2008, Columbia and Techmatik introduced their new line of highly competitive molds for all big board machines, marketed under the Columbia-Techmatik brand name. Now, in addition to the inroads achieved in the North American market, Columbia will be expanding their big board mold sales into a multitude of new markets, including Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

Columbia already has a well-established and loyal following of mold customers, so joining forces with Europe's third largest big board mold supplier will provide even greater capacity. Commenting from their headquarters in Radom Poland, Jaroslaw Kupidura, a Techmatik Vice President stated, "As a result of our partnership with Columbia Machine, the world's leading manufacturer of concrete products equipment, Techmatik will be able to provide high quality products that will meet the expectations of customers throughout the world and result in maximum satisfaction."

In addition to the expansion in big board molds, Columbia Machine is increasing its equipment line with the introduction of the new Columbia/Techmatik SHP5000c big board concrete products machine. This innovative machine is more compact, easier to operate, uses 40% less energy, has lower noise emission, and is less expensive in terms of purchase cost and operation. The SHP5000c block machine can produce: pavers, pavement and terrace slabs, concrete curbs and edging, planters, palisades, segmental retaining wall and concrete blocks.

Columbia Machine and Techmatik are both family owned businesses. Columbia Machine, Inc. is headquartered in Vancouver, Washington USA and for over 70 years has been a leading worldwide supplier of concrete products manufacturing equipment, parts, molds, service and technology. According to Dave Sharp, Columbia Vice President, "Our partnership with Techmatik has been extremely successful and we are looking forward to even more opportunities to develop new products for the concrete products industry. We strive to lead the industry in terms of quality, price and delivery, all with a service level that is second to none."
