The National Ready Mixed Concrete Association is sponsoring the 2009 Concrete Technology Forum: Focus on Testing and Modeling, scheduled for May 13-15 at the Westin Cincinnati. The forum will bring researchers and practitioners together to discuss the latest advances, technical knowledge, continuing research, tools and solutions for testing and modeling concrete performance.

The two-day symposium will feature papers and presentations from nationally renowned researchers and practitioners. Researchers, engineers, architects, contractors, concrete producers, public works officials, material suppliers and concrete industry professionals are invited to attend the symposium. Topics include:

  • Testing and modeling hardened properties
  • Testing for concrete applications
  • Testing and modeling plastic properties
  • Performance prediction and testing
  • A product expo featuring companies that offer products and services for testing and modeling concrete performance will be open during the conference.
