Effective communication skills are an essential key to quality supervision. All aspects of business are more easily accomplished with good communication. Communication breakdowns can be caused by may factors, including incomplete explanations, misunderstandings and lack of knowledge of the people being communicated with. Quality communication is the key to avoiding misunderstanding. It is management's responsibility to communicate information in such a way that employees become motivated to complete their tasks. In order to facilitate effective communication, feedback from employees is necessary. Techniques such as reflective listening and playback and negotiation are both ways to improve communication and facilitate quality and commitment among employees.
