David Biggs, P.E., S.E. of Biggs Consulting Engineering invites masonry product producers to join the National Building Information Modeling for Masonry Initiative, “to be sure they have a place at the table,” when this industry-changing technology goes into effect.

David Biggs (fifth from the left), spoke at the North Carolina Masonry Contractors Association's annual meeting in March 2012. This was the first contractor's association to provide volunteer assistance and funding for the BIM-M project.

Graduate students brainstorm in the BIM Bullpen at Georgia Tech. The students, led by Russell Gentry, project manager, and Charles Eastman, technical adviser, will do most of the legwork in carrying out the road map for BIM-M development.
