The National Ready Mixed Concrete Association has a long tradition of holding regional meetings across the country as a means of fostering greater cooperation and communication between local, state, regional and national industry representatives focused on making concrete THE construction material of choice. This continues with the announcement of the new Regional ConcreteWorks events to the Great Lakes Region on November 15th.

This meeting expands on our previous Regional Work Plan meetings by adding educational programming on critical industry issues and initiatives. The content has been selected by our state affiliate association partners to ensure we are delivering information on issues of local interest. This event will highlight Subgrade Support Under Concrete Pavements; NRMCA Support & Services to Help Deliver Local Parking Lot Projects; and QA/QC Specifications for Concrete Flatwork & Pavements. The meeting is being held at the office of NRMCA’s partner Michigan Concrete Association in Okemos, MI, with a modest fee to cover the cost of the included breakfast.

Attendees will be joined by NRMCA President Robert Garbini, Chairman of the Board William Childs and others from NRMCA and your concrete industry peers in the region for this event. Seating is limited to 50 people, and registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. For more details about this event and to register on-line visit NRMCA’s website.
