If you’re like most of us, you’re probably inundated with an incredible amount of information on a daily basis, and keeping track of everything from appointments to contracts and new contacts can become a challenge. There are lots of tools out there to help you stay organized. We asked professionals from across the industry to share the apps that keep them organized. Here are five of their favorites.

HolcimWeatherAPP Concrete QC Consultant Gary Herron suggests this tool from Holcim, to stay up to date on the latest local pouring conditions. The free weatherApp provides forecasted evaporation rate based on: average wind speed, relative humidity and air temperature.

Citrix Receiver This tool, which allows you to access your data and desktop from anywhere, is “crucial to keeping you connected when you’re not connected,” said Lincoln Talbert, plant manager at Irving Materials, Inc., Smithville, Tn.

CNG Now “Many of our new vehicles are powered by Compressed Natural Gas, we use the CNG Now app, as well as the AFDC app, to locate CNG stations and plan routes,” said Tim Ozinga, marketing communications director, Ozinga Bros., Inc., Mokena, Ill.

Invoice 2 Go Industry professional Ryan Seppanen suggested this leading customer invoice tool, offering custom templates which can be created to match the specific needs of your company.

TripIt “I like it because after you make reservations, it can automatically spot email receipts and include them on an itinerary,” said Joni L. Jones, P.E., Materials Laboratory Services, CTL Group, Skokie, Ill. “I like how I can see all my reservations in one spot, rather than having printed paper and/or trying to look up individual emails for reservation confirmations. I also like how my itinerary is shared with my husband so he knows where I’m supposed to be."
